Al Bigley's BATMAN HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE with Classic 1966 Adam West Costume

Out of the blue we hear from our good buddy Al Bigley and it appears he went a little nuts celebrating Halloween this year!! Yes, here he is at a fun local event wearing the brand-new Rubie's Classic BATMAN TV Series Halloween Costume. This thing is just like the one worn by Adam West in the 1960's TV show. New DC Comics STRONG SUITS Comic Book Hero Playing Cards

Here's a new product that is way too cool NOT to share! We have a friend named Craig Bostick who is a Graphic Artist living in Boston, Massachusetts. He's a major fan of DC Comics and he recently created this set of Superhero Playing Cards. They're called "Strong Suits". He sells them at ETSY.

As you can see he takes many of the characters from the Golden Age to the Silver Age and transforms them into his cute cartoon style, they're great! The first wave of photos up above show the entire set, and then down below, I'm showing off just a few of them that I really like. Seeing the individual cards gives you a better idea on how great the artwork is.

BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS - New Gameplay Walkthrough Video SPOILER ALERT!!

SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! Here's a brand-new video that just hit YouTube where a Gamer takes us through the first 20 minutes or so of the new BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS Video Game that just came out. 

For people who want to play the game totally fresh and NOT see any of the storyline or missions I want to warn you to NOT watch the video. But for everybody else, who wants sort of a preview of what to expect when you play this game, it's really worth watching. Oh man, it looks so amazing... I can't wait to play it!!!

DC Comics' GERMAN Edition BATMAN: DEATH BY DESIGN by Chip Kidd and Dave Taylor

Just spotted this last night, it looks like the DC Comics' Graphic Novel Book, BATMAN: DEATH BY DESIGN has been translated into a "Foreign" German-Language version for the Germany market. The only main difference I can see is that the title has been changed to "Bauwerke des Todes" which, when translated into English, means "Structures of Death"... WOW, that's so cool!!

BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS - BLACK MASK "Personal Mission" Launch Trailer Video

This trailer showcases Black Mask, the feared gang leader and powerful mob boss in Gotham, now controlling the city's criminal underworld.
Black Mask (AKA Roman Sionis) has but one goal this Christmas Eve night, to kill the Batman. With the aim to further tighten his grip on the city, this ruthless and sadistic crime lord will stop at nothing to destroy the vigilante. To get this done, Black Mask has put a bounty on Batman's head, and the eight assassins that are out to claim the prize will be some of the most dangerous and lethal killers the young crime-fighter has ever encountered.

To survive the night and save his city, our hero's strengths and skills will be tested and pushed to their limits.

Batman: Arkham Origins is available worldwide on October 25th.

Marc's Amazing VINTAGE BATMAN TOYS Toy Collection Photo!!

Oh man, this photo has SO MUCH WIN!! Here's a pic we received awhile back from a friend named Marc who we also know on our BAT-BLOG FACEBOOK page ( If you're not a member, then please JOIN US! It's FREE, ha ha! ). Anyways, Marc wanted to share a few of his ultra-cool Batman Toys in his Vintage Toy Collection.

There's some really great stuff here like: The 1966 Batman Night Light, some Corgi  and Corgi Juniors Diecast Cars, Kenner Superpowers Action Figures, Batman and Robin Captain Action Dolls, some Applause PVC Figures, a Ceramic Bank, the Aladdin 1960's Lunch Box, an Ideal Hand Puppet, Plastic Bust Bank by Mego, and much much more! All of this stuff is making me drool like a crazy person because it's all so beautiful!!

BATMAN: ARKHAM ORIGINS Video Game Logo Display Plaque Model Kit

I guess today is "Art Appreciation day" here at the Bat-Blog, ha! Check out this ultra cool Batman: Arkham Origins Display Plaque that was sculpted and painted by our friend, Daniel Martínez Muñoz who lives in Spain.

THE JOKER is Making an ART Appearance at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles, CA!

Here's a quick shout-out for our friend Sean Naylor who is a graphic artist from Southern CA. He wrote me to let us know about a brand-new "Batman-inspired" JOKER Art Print he made for a currently-running art gallery show in California. You can also buy this item online, just CLICK HERE!

Anyway, you can see the artwork LIVE in a group art show called, "Crazy 4 Cult: Say Hi to the Bad Guy!". It's at the Gallery1988 in Los Angeles, CA. The show is themed around villains and bad guys from cult classic movies & TV shows. 

For Sean's piece he chose to create an homage to Jack Nicholson's THE JOKER from the 1989 BATMAN Movie. It's pretty awesome! There are also a few other Joker pieces in the show, and lots of other amazing pop culture art as well. (Thanks Sean and Good Luck).

Some EXCLUSIVE BATMAN ITEMS - Alamo City Comic Con San Antonio, TX Oct 28th-29th

Next Saturday, October 28th to be exact, is the next ALAMO CITY COMIC CON that they have in San Antonio, TX. If you're lucky enough to live near there and get to go to the show you might want to keep an eye out for 2 exclusive "Batman" items. 

The first is a Funkp Pop Heroes "Metallic" Vinyl Figure of Classic 1966 TV Series BATMAN - ADAM WEST (shown up above).

Classic 1966 BATMAN TV SERIES Desktop Wallpapers

Here are 2 new Wallpaper Backgrounds I created to celebrate the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV series. 

The 1st one is a vintage black and white photo that shows Adam West and Burt Ward resting between takes. I guess it's sort of a "behind the scenes" photo.

Then, next, here's a more modern day photo showing Adam West waxing the George Barris-style Batmobile car... sweet!

OK, I'll admit I'm super late getting this online and everybody has probably seen it already but it's so worth posting for the few who have not seen it, it's hilarious!!

Brand-New BATMAN and CATWOMAN 4 GB Flash Drives Out Now!!

I stole this pic from our good friend Lee, the BAT-FAN, ha ha! He recently made a trip to his local Office Depot where he spotted these totally brand-new PC Flash Drives of Batman and Catwoman!! 

From the packaging it looks like they also have a Superman and Wonder Woman too (not pictured here, duh!). They cost about $15 each and store 4 GB of data, cool!

Why didn't they make one of the Flash? Then, it would be a "Flash" Flash Drive, har har!
